Cyberbullying Hurts is a public awareness commercial made during my final year of my degree course. I wanted to show how the online world can affect the 'real' world, in that victims of bullying can suffer psychological harm. The hurtful messages are represented by scary clowns, to show how hurtful some jokes can be, even though it's all online, done with perhaps unthinking callousness. The victim in the ad empowers himself by making sure that the culprits are penalised, enabling him to get on with his life.
